MAGICYOYO V3 Responsive Metal Yoyo — Beginner Practice Model
Product description
PERFORMANCE AND BUILD — The V3 is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with sand blasting for a matte feel. It ships with a standard flat (responsive) bearing and is tuned for practice across 1A, 3A and 5A styles. The design emphasizes stability and long spins for a responsive setup.
RESPONSIVE TODAY, UNRESPONSIVE TOMORROW — This model is supplied with a flat bearing for easy tug-back play, but can be converted to unresponsive by installing the included KK bearing and longer axle. That upgrade gives players the spin and bind-return needed for more advanced string tricks.
FOR BEGINNERS — Marketed as an entry-level metal yoyo for ages 8+, the V3 comes stock with a slim C-style bearing that facilitates simple tug-response returns. A spare KK bearing and a longer M4*12mm axle are included so you can switch to bind-style returns when ready.
PLAYING TIPS — When reassembling, make sure the bearing and axle thread align straight and tighten with appropriate force. If the flat bearing is too sluggish to respond, a drop or two of thicker bearing lubricant will increase responsiveness; conversely, clean and replace with the KK bearing for unresponsive play.
PACKAGE CONTENTS — 1 x Yoyo V3 (Green), 12 x yoyo strings (random colors), 1 x storage pouch, 1 x bearing remover, 1 x KK bearing, 1 x axle (M4*12mm), 1 x mini Allen key.
Pros
- Solid 6061 aluminum construction
- Responsive out of the box with upgrade parts included
- Complete accessory kit for practice and maintenance
Cons
- Included strings can wear quickly
- Flat bearing may catch the string occasionally
- Needs bearing upgrade or tuning for advanced unresponsive play
VerdictA durable, entry-level metal yoyo that performs well for tug-response play and offers an easy upgrade path to unresponsive binds. It’s stable, sleeps long for its class, and ships with useful spares and tools. Expect occasional string wear and the stock flat bearing can snag — both fixable with a bearing swap or thicker lube.

Super fun and smooth
Really entertaining—far better than the cheap yoyos I had growing up. Solid weight and long sleep time thanks to steel ball bearings rather than plastic-on-plastic contact.

Kids adore it
Great bundle with everything needed to start. 'Walk the dog' worked right away. Excellent beginner yoyo—my kids love testing tricks with it.

Great yoyo, but I'm still learning
Excellent yoyo — the toy is capable, I'm just not. I can hit the first "yo" consistently, but the follow-up throw still escapes me.

Good starter for newcomers
I'm new to yoyoing but enjoy it in responsive mode. Compared with cheap imperials and a couple of mid-range models I've tried, this V3 feels about the same or a touch more stable. Swapping in the unresponsive bearing may trim spin a bit, but the difference is small. For how close it performs to pricier options, it's a strong value.

Balanced and entertaining
Wonderful gift for my child—lots of playtime and it feels like a pro-level yoyo in their hands.

Very easy to pick up
Simple to learn with a comfortable loop on the strings and a handy pouch for the yoyo and extras. My brother can’t stop playing it. Downsides: the strings broke for me fairly quickly and the string has jammed in the bearing a couple times, so it’s best for basic tricks rather than advanced speed runs.

Keeps my child entertained
My kid has spent hours with this yoyo and is very happy. Sturdy feel and I appreciate the spare strings and parts included in the box.

Too rough on the hands for me
It has long sleep times, a good look and weight, and can handle many tricks, but catching it is painful for my hands. Short sessions left my hand swollen and needing hours to recover. The responsive returns are inconsistent too—sometimes it comes back too quickly, other times it refuses to return—making play unpredictable and occasionally unsafe.

Solid and stylish
Feels very solid and looks sharp. My son gave it top marks. Good package and I’d recommend it to others.

Good learning yoyo
This was my first bearing yoyo. I used the included flat responsive bearing for a couple of days and it was perfect for basic tricks; switching to the C-style bearing for unresponsive play felt even better. The accessories last a long time and the finish is smooth to the touch.
