24-Pack 6" Heavy-Duty Metal Spring Clamps — 3" Jaw Opening
Product description
What’s included
This bundle contains 24 individual spring clamps, each roughly 6 inches long. They arrive in a uniform black finish and are supplied with removable soft covers on the handles and jaw faces.
Materials and size
The clamp bodies are formed from nickel-plated steel for strength and increased resistance to rust and corrosion. Each clamp is advertised with a 3-inch jaw opening and a 6-inch overall length; rubberized caps around the jaws and a soft grip on the handle are included to protect clamped surfaces and improve comfort.
Design and features
Every clamp has a hanging hole in the handle for convenient storage or temporary anchoring while in use. The jaw covers are removable, so you can trade them out or remove them to gain slightly more opening clearance. The spring mechanism is heavy duty, providing strong bite pressure suitable for demanding tasks.
How it’s used
These clamps work well for woodworking and glue-ups, holding drop cloths or tarps, securing backdrops in photography setups, fastening banners, or general workshop and garden jobs. The robust springs and metal construction make them a practical choice when plastic clamps would flex or fail.
Pros
- Strong clamping force and durable metal construction
- Removable soft grips protect surfaces and improve comfort
- Hanging holes for easy storage and anchoring
Cons
- Actual jaw opening may be slightly under the advertised 3 inches with caps installed
- Tight springs can be hard to open single-handedly for some users
- Plastic jaw caps can detach or wear over extended use
VerdictA large, versatile set of six-inch metal spring clamps that deliver solid clamping force for a wide range of tasks. The nickel-plated steel bodies resist wear, the soft removable grips improve comfort and protect surfaces, and hanging holes make storage simple. Expect very firm springs that may require two-handed opening for some users, and note that jaw clearance with the rubber caps is often a b

Extremely strong hold
These provide very strong clamping force. Sturdy construction and resistant to bending.

Jaw opening smaller than advertised
They look good, but with the rubber grips installed I only get about 2.5 inches of opening. Removing the caps helps a bit, to roughly 2.75 inches, but I couldn’t reach a full 3 inches.

Useful workshop extras
I use many clamps for woodworking and needed spares for non-woodwork tasks around the property. These feel solid with heavy springs and comfortable handles.

Fast shipping and the clamps performed well when used to secure a pool cover.

Very powerful — may need two hands
These clamps clamp down with a lot of force. If you have smaller hands you’ll likely need both hands to open them, so be cautious not to break delicate bonds when releasing.

Perfect for curved glue-ups and general chores
I first used these clamps years ago on a wooden hull project to hold layers while epoxy set. Since then they’ve been pressed into service for car repairs, home fixes and, most recently, securing tarps over plants during a hard freeze. They strike a good balance between strong bite and usable tension, look solid, and show little sign of corrosion so far.

Handy and hardworking
Very versatile — used for a pool cover and many garden tasks. They’ve been strong and reliable; a couple developed minor rust after winter, but overall they handled seasonal use well.

Buena calidad, con pequeño detalle
De muy buena calidad en general; una prensa vino sin la capucha de plástico, pero por lo demás las recomiendo al 100%.

Held drapes and banners without fail
Needed clamps to hang fabric over piping and attach a balloon arch. These were far sturdier than cheap plastic clips and kept heavy drapes and vinyl banners secured all day, even in light wind.

Arrived quickly and repaired easily
Delivery was fast despite a brief carrier hiccup. The tips can pop off like cheaper models, but a little epoxy fixed mine in minutes. They don’t quite reach a full 3-inch opening with the caps, but they’re robust enough for truck and yard use.
