Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer (2-3-1) — 18 oz Pint
Product description
What you receive: one 18 oz pint of Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer (NPK 2-3-1). The formula consists primarily of hydrolyzed fish combined with seaweed extract — roughly three quarters fish and one quarter seaweed — creating a liquid nutrient concentrate meant for regular feedings.
Materials and size: the concentrate is a viscous, natural liquid derived from fish and marine algae. The package contains a single 18-ounce pint bottle. The product is OMRI-listed for organic use and is intended for use on vegetables, ornamentals, trees, lawns and houseplants.
How it works: hydrolyzed fish provides readily available nitrogen and other micronutrients while seaweed contributes growth stimulants and trace elements. Applied as a soil drench or as a foliar spray, the feed promotes root development, stronger foliage, better flower color and improved flavor in edible crops.
Recommended use: general dilution is 1 ounce of concentrate per gallon of water. For indoor plants, a common mix is 1 tablespoon per gallon and used weekly. For outdoor garden beds, a guideline is about 1/8 cup per gallon applied every one to two weeks. It is effective for transplants and established plantings when applied to the root zone or sprayed on leaves.
Soil benefits and safety: regular use builds organic matter, feeds beneficial microbes, and improves soil structure so it holds moisture better while draining appropriately. The manufacturer notes carbon sequestration benefits and reduced susceptibility to pests and disease as soil health improves. The product is considered safe for households with children and pets when used as directed.
Pros
- Organic fish and seaweed nutrient blend
- Versatile: soil drench or foliar feed for many plants
- Supports soil biology and long-term structure
Cons
- Strong marine odor when concentrated
- Very concentrated — requires careful dilution
- Some users report leakage or poor packaging
VerdictA concentrated organic liquid fertilizer that combines fish and seaweed for steady, plant-ready nutrition. It supports roots, foliage, and blooms, and improves soil microbiology over time. Users praise rapid plant response and larger yields, though expect a strong marine odor and careful dilution. Good for gardeners who want a versatile feed for indoor and outdoor plants and who are comfortable ha

Quick improvement and a natural pick
Noticed plants greening up within a short time. Feels like a healthy, organic option for regular feedings and works faster than some granular feeds I've tried.

Rescued our weaker plants
Several struggling houseplants responded after weekly feedings. New growth was noticeable within a couple of applications. Very happy with the turnaround.

Turns apartment grass greener
The marine scent faded quickly after watering and my small indoor lawn patch came in much greener. Good for compact spaces when diluted properly.

Strong smell but great performance
Yes, it stinks when concentrated, but it mixes thick and my pepper plants thrived after using roughly a tablespoon per two liters. The odor fades and plants were very healthy.

Switched back after trying alternatives
I tried a cheaper brand to save a bit and wasn’t pleased, so I’ll be returning to this one. Plants looked more vigorous with this fertilizer. It’s thick and smelly but the results speak for themselves.

Powerful — mix carefully
It works, but it’s potent. I overdid the dilution with young tomatoes and saw leaf damage overnight. Also had a bottle that leaked in transit. Effective product but handle with caution and check packaging.

Effective — also deters wildlife
The scent is unpleasant to us, but deer avoided the treated areas and my flowers enjoyed a strong season. Solid feeding for garden beds.

Roses, herbs and perennials loved it
My roses and herb pots produced many new shoots and healthy blooms after regular applications. Growth is consistent; only wish the container held a bit more.

Transformed my beds into lush displays
I introduced this fish-and-seaweed feed to my flower beds and vegetable plots and the change was dramatic. Blooms are more vivid and my tomatoes and squash are producing heavier yields. The natural marine-derived nutrients clearly boosted root strength and foliage vigor. I like that it’s an organic concentrate and that a little goes a long way.

Intense smell up front, then excellent results
Opening the bottle hits you with a marine blast, but once diluted the odor is much milder and doesn’t linger in my home. I care for over a hundred houseplants and saw rapid new leaf growth and richer color after the first use. The concentrate lasts a long time because you use so little.

Visible gains in my veggie patch
Used it on zucchini, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers and berry bushes. Fruits are larger and plants grew quickly. I sprayed the base and misted leaves every couple of weeks as directed, and even my wife’s flower beds looked noticeably fuller. Plants responded well at each stage from transplant to fruiting.
