Framesi Color Lover Dynamic Blonde — Violet Purple Toner Shampoo
Product description
What it is: A deep purple, pigment-rich shampoo formulated to tone and neutralize unwanted yellow and orange hues on blonde, highlighted, gray, and white hair.
What’s included: Typically sold as a single bottle of toning shampoo; many people pair it with the Color Lover Dynamic Blonde Conditioner for optimal moisture and finish.
Formula and materials: Vegan and formulated without sulfates, parabens, DEA, or sodium chloride. The concentrated violet pigments are designed to deposit cool tone while cleansing.
Sizes: Available in retail and professional bottle sizes to suit at-home use and salon treatments — from smaller retail bottles to larger salon sizes.
How to use: Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse, then repeat and leave on for 2–3 minutes when extra toning is needed. For maintenance, alternate this shampoo every third wash and always follow with a hydrating conditioner or the matching Dynamic Blonde conditioner to restore moisture.
Pros
- Strong neutralizing pigments for brass control
- Vegan formula free of sulfates, parabens, DEA, and sodium chloride
- Salon-oriented performance for professional-feel results
Cons
- Can be drying if overused
- May produce a slight blue/ashy cast if left on too long
- Highly pigmented — a little goes a long way, but it can feel concentrated
VerdictThis violet-toning shampoo delivers visible cooling of yellow and brassy tones, keeping lightened and gray hair looking fresher between color appointments. It’s a concentrated, salon-oriented formula that’s sulfate-, paraben-, DEA-, and sodium chloride-free and formulated vegan. Expect strong pigment that works quickly — which is great for reducing brass but can be drying or produce a slight ashy

Essential for blonde routines
I’ve used this purple shampoo for years. It keeps my blonde fresh and reduces brassy tones. I’ve tried others but always return to this one — a staple in my routine.

Doesn’t spread well
Cleans well but you need a lot because it doesn’t lather or spread like others. I’m trying different options because of how quickly it’s used up.

Noticeable improvement after one wash
I have heavy highlights to blend gray and the yellow tones faded after one use. I used gloves and left it on while rinsing my face. Smells pleasant and worked better than many others I tried.

Great for highlighted hair but time carefully
It removes orange/yellow brass very well. Be cautious with timing — leave it on a short while at first. If it looks a bit whitish/blue, it fades after a few washes. It can dry hair, so adjust accordingly.

Will buy again
Keeps brass away even with hard water. It can be drying, so I mix a bit with conditioner or use a moisturizing shampoo. Rich purple pigment — a little goes a long way.
