Handy for many tasks
Very useful across several projects. Easy to operate, and I couldn’t find this style locally, so the set was a welcome find.

You get what you pay for
Didn’t cut cleanly and left some grommets with sharp edges. Also tricky to use more than an inch from the material edge.

Does the job for repairs
Fixed an old tarp quickly. The ratchet made it much easier than basic pliers and my hands stayed comfortable after about 20 grommets. Three sizes saved time.

Surprisingly effective
Replaced grommets on a camping tarp. The ratchet really eases the job. Did about 15 installs and each held up. Handy having three sizes in one kit.

Must pre-cut holes first
Tool is sturdy but won't reliably punch holes on its own. The grommet edges don't cut through heavier canvas, so I had to make a starter hole first.

Won't form grommets for me
Couldn't get the grommets to crimp properly — they bent every attempt. The locking/ratchet felt jammed even after releasing it.
