Aquarium
Artificial Aquarium Leaf Plant with Ceramic Base (2-Pack)
Product description
What’s included: two artificial leaf plants, each mounted on a heavy ceramic base. The stems have soft rubber tendrils above the base and lifelike silk-textured leaves attached along plastic branch structures.
Materials and build: the foliage is made to mimic the feel of real leaves while remaining soft enough not to fray fins or damage scales. The base is a weighted ceramic that holds the plant upright on gravel or substrate; the branches and core structure are molded plastic and rubber for flexibility.
Size and fit: these plants are designed to suit small bowls through community aquariums. The compact profile lets them fit hexagon tanks, standard 5–10 gallon setups, and terrariums without dominating the space. Leaves are lightweight so they sway naturally in water currents.
How to use: there’s no assembly needed — simply press the base into gravel or place it on the substrate to anchor. If leaves arrive creased from packaging, warm water or gentle reshaping will return them to shape. The flexible tendrils provide shaded hiding spots where fish may rest or lay eggs, and reptiles or amphibians can use them as cover.
Pros
- Realistic, silk-textured leaves
- Weighted ceramic base provides stability
- Safe, soft materials that won’t harm fins or scales
Cons
- May arrive slightly flattened from packaging
- Some pieces can shed leaves over time
- Occasional stability or adhesion issues reported
VerdictThese artificial leaf plants give aquariums and terrariums an instant natural look without the upkeep of live plants. The silk-like leaves and flexible tendrils are gentle on fins and scales, while the weighted ceramic bases keep most setups steady. They work well in small bowls up to larger tanks and are popular with bettas, tetras, shrimp, geckos, and other small pets. Expect a little flattening

Missing piece claim
Ad said three pieces but I only received two. One of the suction-style attachments didn’t hold, and the listing later changed.

Durable and convincing
Have used these for about six months; they still look natural and hold up well. Solid purchase.

One stayed put, one wouldn’t
One plant anchors fine, the other kept tipping no matter how I positioned it. Ended up discarding the unstable one.

No sharp edges — fish like it
Both bettas enjoy it. Texture is gentle and sturdy; sometimes it pops away from the glass but overall it’s safe and odor-free.

Very realistic and full
Large, bushy, and silk-like. Had a slight smell at first but soaking and airing removed it; now it’s one of my favorite artificial plants.

Mostly good
Leaves did come off easily in places, but it’s overall a big, attractive piece and my betta loves hiding inside.

Looks great but fragile
The visual effect is very appealing, but one branch detached when I unpacked it. Still looks nice in the aquarium.

Did not meet expectations
Color wasn’t like the photo, and one leaf arrived torn while another had a faded side.

Fits a standard 10G nicely
Good replacement for a failing live plant. Came a bit flattened; warm water and reshaping smoothed the leaves and it sits low enough in my gravel to not break the surface.

Excellent plant
Well made and realistic; the leaves resemble real plants. They arrive a bit creased sometimes, but once in the tank the foliage returns to shape. Very satisfied so far.
