Palo Santo Smudging Sticks — 12-Pack, High-Resin Wood Sticks
Product description
Sustainably harvested and SERFOR-certified: These Palo Santo sticks are collected from naturally fallen trees in Peru, assembled in accordance with SERFOR regulations to ensure legal, ethical and environmentally responsible wild harvesting.
What’s in the package: This offering contains approximately 12 hand-selected Palo Santo sticks in a single pack. The total weight is about 110 g (4 oz) and each stick measures roughly 4 inches in length. The pieces are sorted and bundled to help preserve fragrance during storage and shipping.
Materials and character: The sticks are natural wood with varying concentrations of naturally occurring resin. That resin is what shapes the aroma and burn behavior — richer pieces will ignite more intensely and produce a darker initial smoke before settling into a softer white, fragrant smolder.
How to use: Light the tip of a stick until you see a flame, let it burn briefly, then gently blow the flame out. The stick will emit aromatic smoke suitable for smudging, meditation, or as a simple natural incense. Palo Santo typically self-extinguishes after a short smolder, and you can relight it as needed.
Safety and tips: Use in a well-ventilated area and never leave burning or smoldering sticks unattended. Because the resin can cause an initial darker smoke, allow a few seconds for the flame to calm before beginning your ritual. A windproof lighter or match can make ignition easier for thicker pieces.
Uses and gifting: Intended for smudging, meditation spaces, natural incense use, or as a thoughtful natural gift. Hand-picked, ethically wild-harvested pieces make this pack suitable for those who want a responsibly sourced Palo Santo option.

Warm, sacred aroma fills the home
My home now smells like a Sunday-morning chapel — exactly the vibe I wanted. Works well; a windproof lighter helps to get them going. Produces steady smoke and each stick burns for a long stretch.

Looks and smells appealing
They look nice and the scent is pleasant. My cat reacted strongly to the aroma, which was surprising.

Consistent cuts with lovely scent
The aroma is wonderful and the sticks are uniformly trimmed and packed. Burn time depends on usage. I also steep pieces to make cleansing sprays instead of always burning to stretch them further.

Nice scent but heavy indoor smoke
Pleasant smell, but they create thick smoke indoors. You need proper ventilation and setup to use comfortably inside.

Lacks the classic resinous fragrance
Very disappointed — this doesn’t have the warm, sweet, citrusy resin notes I expected. The wood seems dry and low-quality, missing the natural oils that create the characteristic scent.

Good for gifts or trying out
Nice affordable option for a simple gift or for personal use. Works well for introducing others to palo santo.

Missing the expected palo santo note
I don’t believe this is true resin-rich palo santo. It needs blowing out and the smoke lacks the classic aroma, with a harsh, almost plastic-like edge. Not resinous when warm.

Attractive but subtle aroma
Nice appearance but I hardly detect any fragrance. They burn out quickly and need frequent relighting.

Dense sticks; clean sweet smoke
Thick sticks take about 20–30 seconds to catch. Once lit they give a clean, sweet smoke and smolder for a few minutes before going out. No crumbly bits in the pack.

Thick cuts, strong burn
Good selection with thicker pieces available. Smells strong, burns long, and there is a generous amount in the box.

Meets expectations
Standard-size sticks with a pleasant scent. Packaged in small bunches which keeps them from drying out. Would buy again without hesitation.

Long-lasting pieces
Very fresh-smelling sticks. They don’t stay lit long but can be relit easily, so they last a long time overall.
