Replacement Aux Cable for SteelSeries Arctis Headsets (3/5/7/Pro)
Product description
This kit supplies a detachable audio lead paired with a 3.5mm TRRS adapter intended to mimic the original Arctis wiring layout. It’s marketed as compatible with SteelSeries Arctis 3, Arctis 5, Arctis 7, Arctis Pro and Arctis Pro + GameDAC headsets and can be used with consoles, PCs, laptops and mobile devices.
The cable measures about 1.5 metres (roughly 5 feet) and is finished in black TPE for a soft-touch feel. The conductor run is approximately 3.0mm in diameter and terminates in a gold-plated plug to reduce signal loss and resist corrosion. The included adapter uses a right-angle connector to lessen stress at the plug and help prevent cord fractures.
It is intended to be plug-and-play: connect the lead to the headset and use the adapter to mate with the GameDAC or ChatMix dongle, or plug directly into phones, tablets, laptops and other gear with a standard 3.5mm jack. The package contains one cable and one adapter, and the male-to-female arrangement allows use with a wide range of audio devices.

- Plug-and-play with GameDAC, ChatMix and mobile devices

VerdictThis replacement aux cable restores wired functionality for Arctis 3/5/7 and Pro models with a familiar detachable design and TRRS adapter. A subset of buyers report intermittent failures, noise, or partial RGB/ChatMix s

Handy replacement after our cat ruined the original. Does the job and avoids waiting for an OEM part.

Fast arrival and works like new
Shipped quickly and swapped in for my worn cable with no fitment issues. Feels and performs like a fresh cord. Would recommend.

Well-made auxiliary lead
This aux cable is a strong replacement for SteelSeries headsets. At 1.5 m it offers enough reach without excess. Audio stays clear and I noticed no signal loss. The build feels sturdy and the connectors seat firmly in both headset and GameDAC, making it a useful option when a factory cable fails.

Unacceptable interference
Persistent noise appears on the mic line, even when only connected to the DAC. It feeds back headphone audio and causes severe feedback — likely a shielding or grounding defect.

Reliable connector so far
Bought this after my cat chewed the old wire. The new cord connects reliably and I haven’t had any connection issues. Uploaded a photo with my review.

Partially compatible — usable but imperfect
Reordered this in 2026. As a plain aux lead it functions well. With the ChatMix dial it mostly works, though RGB behaves inconsistently. It resembles the factory cable but doesn’t reproduce every feature perfectly.

Good option but not identical
Glad a replacement exists, but the cable and sound quality aren't quite on par with the original.
