Product description
This is a refreshed release of the original RX-78-2 from Mobile Suit Gundam, produced at 1/144 scale. The kit is built from injection-molded plastic and takes advantage of updated runner layouts and connection methods to achieve improved proportions and joint mobility compared with older releases.
Parts are designed for snap-fit building — no glue required — and Bandai's runner engineering places multiple colors on single parts where possible, helping recreate accurate color separation straight from the sprues. The package includes the RX-78-2's standard weapons: a beam rifle, two beam saber handles/blades, a hyper bazooka and the shield, all in scale and ready to attach to the model.
Assembly is intended to be approachable: a small number of runners, clear instruction steps and reliable fit of components. The finished kit can reproduce many of the TV series' classic poses and is compact enough for shelf display. The product box carries the Bandai Namco warning label to indicate it is an officially licensed release.

Great for New Builders and Gundam Fans
Compact, simple kit that still captures the classic design. Only a few runners and straightforward snap-together assembly; a few hours will get you a nicely poseable model. I did basic panel lining and decals with great results.
