Golden Maple 10-Piece Miniature Detail & Dry Brush Set for Hobby Painting
Product description
Versatility: This collection blends three larger dry brushes with seven small detail brushes so you can switch between creating textured, drybrushed areas and painting precise edges or tiny details. Use the dry brushes to build subtle highlights and texture, then refine focal points with the slim detail brushes for contrast and definition.
Imported nylon bristles: The small detail brushes use high-grade nylon bristles sourced from Japan. These filaments are formed to give a controlled paint laydown, maintain a fine point for detailed strokes, and are straightforward to clean. They’re designed to resist splaying so tips stay usable through repeated sessions.
Contents and sizes: The set includes seven miniature detail brushes in these shapes/sizes — one angled, rounds in sizes 0, 1 and 2, and liners in 3/0, 5/0 and 10/0 — plus three larger goat-hair dry brushes. This mix covers edge work, tiny facial features, trim, and textured background techniques for small-scale projects.
Goat-hair dry brushes: The drybrush pieces use dense, semi-stiff goat hair with a slightly domed profile, held by rust-proof ferrules. The natural hair offers spring and resilience for controlled drybrushing effects without excessive shedding, and the construction helps them retain shape over time.
Suitable uses: These brushes are intended for fine-detail tasks such as painting miniatures, figurines, army models, ceramic underglaze work, plastic models, and paint-by-number canvases. The ergonomic handle flare aids grip and control, making them useful gifts for hobby painters or a practical addition to your own toolkit.

A worthwhile small set
Handy little kit for paint-by-number and hobby detail. A noticeable step up from basic kit brushes and a useful set to keep on hand.

Surprisingly handy variety
I grabbed this set for miniatures because I wanted shapes beyond tiny rounds. The angled and filbert pieces have been great for edges, small armor panels, tight drybrushing spots and controlled blending. The detail rounds keep a useful point for faces and trim. Handles feel good in hand. The thinnest liners demand careful cleaning to keep their tips, but overall this set has worked well for my figures.

Artist-level performance
Excellent tools, well protected by the plastic tubes for storage. Bristles held up even after heavy use. Very fair offering.

My go-to small detail brushes
These have become my favorite small brushes for acrylic detail on canvas. Affordable but well made — I care for them and they last months without noticeable shedding. The handles are comfortable and the tiny brushes hold a fine tip. I clean and reshape them with a brush cleaner and they keep performing.

Perfect for tiny ornament detail work
I needed brushes to paint very small 3D-printed ornaments and these did the job. Initially skeptical due to the cost, I found the bristles solid, no shedding, and the handles ergonomic. They hold paint well and clean up easily — far better control than cheap hobby brushes.

Excellent for ceramic underglaze lines
These brushes work wonderfully for applying underglaze on small ceramic pieces. I favor the tiny ones for fine areas but the larger brushes are handy too. The flared handle helps with grip, and I haven’t seen any shedding. They lay down glaze cleanly and reach tight spots for line work.

Ideal for miniature detail
I use these mainly for miniatures. The bristles have a good balance of stiffness and softness, the handles are sturdy, and the colors are pleasant. Great value for disposable or experimental painting needs. I’ll keep buying them.

Helpful set for tight spots
A very useful brush set — the range of sizes helps reach difficult crevices that other brushes can’t.
