Speedo Men's Tidal Cruiser Water Shoe — Navy (Men's Water Shoe)
Product description
Includes one pair of men's water shoes (US size 13) in navy.
Constructed from fully synthetic materials, the shoe features a ventilated mesh upper to promote airflow and accelerate drying. A neoprene collar provides a secure, stretchable opening for easier on-and-off and a snug hold around the ankle. The removable insert allows for cleaning and faster drying when needed.
Designed as a low-top (shaft measures low from the arch), the Tidal Cruiser uses a pull-on closure system rather than laces. The sole is a molded synthetic compound with a tread pattern meant to improve grip on wet surfaces such as boat decks, rocky shorelines and pool areas. Ideal for activities like boating, kayaking, beach walks and shower use.
Pros
- Quick-drying ventilated mesh upper
- Neoprene collar for easy entry and secure fit
- Thicker sole for better protection and traction
Cons
- Runs on the snug side for some users
- No half sizes available
- Higher price than basic water shoes
VerdictThese water shoes combine quick-drying mesh with a soft neoprene collar and a thicker synthetic sole for better protection on rough surfaces. They fit snugly as a pull-on low-top and offer good traction for wet, slippery terrain. For most users they provide comfortable cushioning and fast drainage; those between sizes or with wide feet should consider sizing up.

Better sole for rougher surfaces
Compared to very cheap water shoes these have a thicker sole and sturdier build, which is better for rocky ground. I use them for pool and showers; they are pricier so I hope they last.

Very comfortable to wear and gives acceptable foot protection.

Supportive cushioning — second pair approval
This is my second pair; I wear a 10. They fit well and the cushioning helps with my neuropathy so I can walk comfortably in pools and the ocean. Construction feels solid and I’d recommend them.

Still going strong after years of use
I’ve used them for boating for a couple of years with no problems; they still look new. Good traction, lightweight, dry quickly and protect my sensitive feet from rocks. I’d buy again.

Reliable brand and good color
I trust this brand for water shoes. The dark navy color looks great.

Runs snug — size carefully
Shoe runs tight. I wear a 10.5W and the size 11 felt snug but tolerable. I’m keeping them but unsure how others should size.

Tip: buy a size larger
Durable and comfortable, but I recommend ordering one size up compared to your usual European size to get the right fit.

Excellent quality — pick the larger size if unsure
Top-quality water shoe. I was between sizes and chose the larger one; very satisfied. Comfortable, dries fairly quickly and the sole grips well.

Attractive design and stays put
The look and fit are nice. They felt a bit tight at first but loosened up; they stay on well and are comfortable. I wear them indoors without scuffing floors and will buy another pair for kayaking.

Good materials, slightly snug fit
Arrived on time. Materials feel high quality and are comfortable, though slightly tight in the toes. The fabric is soft; I bought my usual US size 10 and they fit close but not painful. Should be great for beach use.

Well-suited for wider feet and rough terrain
I replaced my old beach shoes after researching options. Customer service was fast but not always precise. These fit my wider feet fine; the front and back pull tabs make them easy to put on, and the removable insoles simplify drying. The thicker sole and tread handled wet, algae-covered rocks in Hawaii well. The style is fine.
