Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint Detailing Kit — 4-Piece Matte Care Set
Product description
This four-in-one matte paint kit supplies everything needed to maintain matte and similar low-gloss finishes. The set includes a 12 fl. oz. Matte Body Wash for routine washing, a 12 fl. oz. Matte Paint Cleanser for preparation and contaminant removal, a 4 fl. oz. Matte Paint Sealant (ceramic-based) to provide long-term protection, and a 12 fl. oz. Matte Final Finish to remove residue and leave an even texture.
Formulated specifically for non-gloss surfaces, the products contain no silicones, no glossing agents and no fillers so they won’t add shine or change the paint tone. The sealant is a ceramic-style coating that acts as a protective layer against stains and contaminants, promoting hydrophobic behavior and durability. The manufacturer states the protective effect can last up to two years under normal use.
Safe on a variety of finishes, the kit is suitable for matte, satin, vinyl and paint protection film applications and can also be used on glossy surfaces if desired. Usage is straightforward: wash with the body wash, treat stubborn spots or contamination with the cleanser, apply the small-volume sealant to panel areas as directed for protection, and finish with the final finish product to even out the texture.
The line emphasizes compatibility with factory matte processes by avoiding waxes and shine-enhancing additives. The bottles and sizes included make it practical for detailing a single vehicle: 12 fl. oz. for wash, cleanser and final finish, plus a 4 fl. oz. jar/bottle of the sealant for targeted coating applications.

Great results for frozen finishes
A bit on the pricey side but excellent for delicate matte paints — especially for BMW’s frozen finishes.

Keeps matte looks intact
If your car has a true matte finish these products help keep it clean without adding gloss. I found doing a periodic seal every six months plus light rinses between helps maintain the appearance. Avoid aggressive rubbing on matte surfaces.

Does what it promises
I tried a variety of matte products and this kit worked the most consistently for my car. The dealership I bought the vehicle from also used it on their matte display cars. Very satisfied with the results.

Good performance with effort
Still weighing whether it’s worth the cost, but it performs well if you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease.

Professional-level results on exotics
Overall very positive. The sealant impressed me and the prewash/spot spray lifted dried bugs with minimal rubbing. I applied soap via foam gun and it sudsed well. I saw some white residue likely due to soft water — matte paint is sensitive to water quality. Consider a deionization or mineral filter if your water is hard. Work in small sections, dry as you go, and an air hose helps remove water from crevices.
