Welcome to “On Sundays We Brunch” — Series Eight. I want this series to feel like a relaxed conversation over brunch where we share favorites: articles, recipes, products, books, inspiration, and anything else that brings joy.
Brunch is my favorite meal because the mood is light, you still have the whole day ahead, and nearly any dish fits the occasion — often paired with champagne. Urban Dictionary even calls it “brunchin’,” defined as midday lunchin’ and acting a fool from mid-morning to lunchtime. It’s hard to think of a description that fits better.
Grab a mimosa, pull up a chair, and let’s chat. If anyone wants to act a fool, I’m totally game.
I’m excited to bring this series back. The last Sunday Brunch post was months ago — September 16 — and I’m honestly a bit embarrassed it took me this long to return. I love the chance to recap the week, share favorite new recipes from bloggers and websites, post cute photos of my dogs, and highlight a quote that resonates.
Funny enough, I actually went to brunch this Sunday — maybe that was the nudge I needed to restart the series.

Who’s watching the Super Bowl tonight? I enjoy football, but I’m more excited about the food. This week I shared several tasty party-style recipes — read on to catch up if you missed them.
