Therapist's Choice Basic Massage Face Cradle Cushion (Black)
Product description
This item is a single replacement face cradle cushion designed for use with most massage tables and face-rest attachments. It includes two loop fastener strips sewn to the back so it can be anchored to a compatible headrest pad.
Construction features a firm foam core wrapped in a wipeable faux leather/vinyl outer. The cushion is imported and intended as a universal replacement for popular cradle systems, including those modeled after Earthlite and Earthgear headrests.
Typical dimensions align with user reports: the facial aperture measures roughly 2–3 inches across and the whole cushion reaches about 6–7 inches at its fullest width. It is meant to cradle the face while clients lie prone and can be covered with a disposable towel, a sheepskin, or a thin cloth for added comfort or hygiene.
Pros
- Durable foam core
- Wipe-clean faux-leather cover
- Fits many common headrests
Cons
- Relatively firm feel for some users
- Only the soft (loop) side of Velcro included
- Face opening may be small for larger heads
VerdictA solid, no-frills face cradle pad that works well as a replacement on pro and portable tables. The dense foam and vinyl-like outer make it durable and simple to clean. Some users find the foam on the firm side and the Velcro only provides the soft loop, so expect to pair it with a headrest that has compatible hook strips or add a cover. Size and opening suit many clients, though people with large

Good replacement — reliable
Replaced my worn-out pad and it’s performed well. I use it daily and it holds up; I’ll repurchase the same model when this one shows wear.

Fits portable table, sturdy cover
Fits our portable table and the color is close to the upholstery. Firm enough for my taste; outer is vinyl-like. Seems like fair value.

Color match and feels a bit firm
Matched my cream table nicely. It is a touch firm compared with my old broken-in pad, but adding a sheepskin cover made it comfortable.

Too firm for home bed use
Tried it on a regular mattress and it felt very firm — took effort to get comfortable and tended to spring back. Works for tables but not ideal for bed massages.

Perfect fit for table holes
Thick, comfortable pad that fits the table openings well — does the job at a good price.

Smaller than expected for bed use
Hoped to use it on the bed but it felt undersized. I think it’s better suited to a massage table with a matching headrest bracket.

Too shallow and too firm
The depth is shallow so the face sits too close; the foam is firmer than I expected. I can’t recommend it for my needs.

Quality not up to expectations
Feels low quality for the cost compared with other sellers I’ve seen. Would consider other purchasing options next time.

Arrived quickly, satisfied
Came on time; I ordered gray but received black. Haven’t used it yet, but the material and build look solid. Will cover between clients for hygiene.

Fine product, dislike the underside Velcro
It’s exactly what I needed, but I would have preferred no Velcro on the bottom.

Works well at home, small opening
Keeps the face lifted during home sessions. The Velcro is only the soft side and won’t stick alone. Opening is about 2–3 in and the cushion ~6–7 in wide.

Great for giving massages at home
Bought as a gift and it’s been excellent. Easy to wipe clean, no odor, and still looks new after a month. Comfortable and simple to use.
