UCEC 30-Pack Plastic Bone Folders for Scoring, Creasing & Folding
Product description
Premium construction: These folders are molded from imitation cattle-bone plastic, providing a smooth finish and a strength that often outlasts wood alternatives. Each piece is designed to protect delicate paper, cardstock and fabric surfaces while producing neat, professional folds and creases.
Versatile use: The set functions as folding tools, creasers and scorers for cardstock, and can double as a scraper for tougher materials. Whether you’re smoothing, burnishing or creating precise score lines, the tools perform reliably across typical paper-craft tasks.
Bulk kit: This pack contains 30 identical burnishing tools, making it suitable for classrooms, workshops, sewing circles and busy home studios. The large quantity ensures spares are on hand for group projects, origami sessions, leather work, scrapbooking and cardmaking.
Handy dimensions: Each folder measures about 8.07 x 0.94 inches, a size that’s comfortable to grip and easy to tuck into a kit or bag. Their shape supports controlled folding in everyday projects as well as more involved bookbinding work.
Crafting applications: Useful for bookbinding, card construction and many DIY paper crafts, the set is a practical addition to school art supplies or a studio’s basic toolkit. The tools are reusable and designed to assist with smoothing, creasing and finishing work across a range of materials.

Perfect for class kits
I buy these for bookbinding classes so my students can keep them and practice at home. They’re simple plastic folders that meet my classroom needs. They won’t replace a high-end folder, but they’re ideal for student kits.

Too thick for standard scorers
These are too bulky to fit into our standard scoring tool. We couldn’t use them in that holder and ended up returning the set.

Works great for instructors
Excellent quantity for teaching — they were longer than my older folders but performed well. I’d suggest them for teachers who need many tools for classes.

Material and edge problems
Made from recycled-ish plastic, they feel stiff and the edges are too blunt for precise creasing. I could sand them thinner, but I shouldn’t have to; I found other uses but won’t buy again for scoring work.

Quality below premium tools
I was skeptical because these are budget plastic folders, and as someone who prefers quality bone tools I can tell they’re not finely finished. Edges are rounded and lack the polished thinness of traditional folders. I’ll keep some for class use but don’t expect premium performance.
