4-1/2-inch Paddle-Switch Angle Grinder (AC/DC) — 9557PB
Product description
This 4-1/2-inch angle grinder is powered by a 7.5 amp, double-insulated motor that spins grinding discs at around 10,000–11,000 RPM when unloaded. The tool is designed with a narrow, 2-1/2-inch circumference barrel for a secure grip and weighs roughly 4.5 pounds to reduce user fatigue during extended tasks. An exclusive labyrinth construction surrounds the drive gear and bearings to limit dust and debris intrusion, extending service life in harsh conditions.
Controls include an oversized paddle switch for comfortable fingertip operation and a lock-on/off feature for continuous use. The grinder also has an AC/DC selector to accept alternate power sources, a spindle lock that simplifies wheel changes, and a side handle that can be fitted on either side for left- or right-handed use. Vibration is managed through the motor and grip design to keep handling steady during cutting, grinding, and wheel work.
What's included in the kit: the 4-1/2-inch angle grinder with paddle switch, a 4-1/2" grinding wheel, lock nut, inner flange, lock nut wrench, wheel guard, and a removable side handle. The unit is manufactured in China and is backed by a one-year warranty. The package is intended to be ready to use out of the box for common grinding and cutting jobs around the shop or site.

Does what it should
Nice feel and dependable performance so far. Time will tell how it holds up, but it's working as expected.

Plenty of torque and speed
Very capable grinder — strong torque and high RPMs. Handles metal cutting and wood shaping wheels without bogging. Great quality and I recommend it for most shops.

Replaced my older portable grinder
Swapped this in for a different brand. The paddle switch is convenient and the unit seems well built. My service tech praised the brand for repairability, though the one-year warranty is shorter than some competitors.

Powerful but be ready at startup
First time with this brand and impressed. The base toggle to lock it on is a bit tricky, and the initial kick requires a firm grip. Very powerful and performs well for extended cuts.

Great for shop and home use
I do autobody work and use pneumatic tools daily, but this electric grinder is excellent when a compressor isn't available. It maintains speed under pressure for smoother weld grinding and can be used for a variety of tasks. Considering getting another to keep at home.
