48-Port 10Gbps Cat6 Patch Panel (2U) — 19" Rack/Wall RJ45
Product description
Unshielded 48-Port Cat6 Design: This patch panel offers 48 RJ45 ports optimized for Cat6 cabling while remaining backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. It’s intended for high-speed Ethernet environments, including connections to gigabit and 10-Gigabit network switches.
10-Gigabit and PoE Ready: The panel supports 10Gb Ethernet and is suitable for PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ powered devices like IP cameras and access points, enabling both data and power over the same cabling infrastructure.
2U 19-Inch Rack/Wall Mount: Built to fit standard 19" racks and cabinets, the unit occupies 2U (approximately 3.5") of rack space and can also be deployed on wall-mount brackets for flexible installation in closets or distributed wiring locations.
Reliable Termination and Contacts: Gold-plated contact surfaces provide stable, low-loss connections. Ports are numbered and the face includes color-coded T568A/T568B wiring diagrams to guide accurate punching and pairing during installation.
Termination Compatibility: The rear IDC blocks accept industry-standard punchdown methods and are compatible with 110 and Krone-style tools, making it straightforward to terminate bulk cabling runs.
Safety and Cable Management: The assembly is UL-listed (E486099) for fire-safety compliance. Included hardware such as D-rings and cable ties helps maintain neat runs and reduces strain on the terminations.

Practical, reliable unit
I ordered this since I trust the brand and needed a ready-in-stock panel. The layout is sensible and the unit performs well for data transfers. If I need another, I’ll grab the same model.

Works well but missing rear caps
Performance is excellent, but I was surprised there were no rear cable caps. Those help secure wires when a panel is moved. Otherwise the panel functions as expected.

Durable through reterminations
Installed two panels at a client site and had to reterminate several times to meet requirements. The panels handled repeated punchdowns without faults—issues encountered were due to user technique, not the product.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
Material quality is excellent and I’d recommend it to someone experienced. As a first-timer I found the full 48-port layout a bit challenging; I might choose two 24-port panels next time.

Met my needs for 25 runs
Handled 25 lines cleanly where a 24-port would fall short. I used a Krone punch initially and then switched to a 110 tool when the Krone came apart—panel accepted both fine.
