Stopped nighttime panting — dog approved
My dog loves this mat and has been staying cooler at night; the nighttime panting stopped after we started using it. Very pleased with the results.

Feels genuinely cool and well made
I swapped an XL for the large and was happy with the construction. The surface has a cooling touch; I even chilled it briefly before morning porch time and my dogs immediately enjoyed it.

Cool surface, sizing and color drawbacks
Well-stitched and cool even after sitting in the heat; it fit inside a 48" wire crate. My Malamute pup wasn’t impressed and I’m returning it mainly because XL won’t suit a rapidly growing large breed. The baby-blue color isn’t very attractive to me.

Cooled right away, simple design
Unrolled it from a hot box and the pad felt cool to the touch instantly. My Aussie hasn’t fully figured it out yet, but the thin profile delivers cooling rather than cushioning. XL fit her but extra length would be nicer.

Beach-tested and dog-approved
Took the small size to the beach for my 10–11 lb pup and it worked well. The fabric is soft and feels cooler than towels, though it won’t stay icy in direct sun. Great as a more comfortable, cooler surface for a small dog.

A hit with our big dog
Our 110 lb dog immediately gravitates to this pad and seems more comfortable in extreme heat. We tried other cooling products but this one sticks. It washes up nicely; I only wish there was an even larger size for very big dogs.

Lost cooling power quickly
Pad cooled right away when unrolled, but after my dog lay on it for about half a minute the spot was warm to the touch. In air-conditioned rooms it didn’t maintain cooling for long, so it disappointed me.

Works but plan on extra padding
It does stay cool and was a good value, but it’s very thin so I place it over a bed for comfort. The large runs a bit small for an average large dog, so measure and consider sizing up.
