The Confluence life jacket is a harness-style flotation vest for dogs that combines layered, PVC-free outer materials with CLPE foam panels. Those foam sections are positioned to encourage a natural swimming angle and to avoid bulk under the throat, while still providing substantial lift.
Design highlights include a strong, low-profile handle at the center back and a secondary handle toward the rear so owners can guide or hoist dogs from the water or into boats and paddlecraft. Buckles are sheltered to reduce snagging, and the webbing is water-compatible. A reinforced webbing loop provides a secure leash connection point.

Handled rough water with ease
Took this on a canoe trip in a lake known for choppy conditions. My black dog swims fine but dislikes cold water; the orange made her easy to spot. She moved naturally, like wearing a harness, and the vest felt sturdy after a week of use. The light loop and durable material were especially appreciated, and she ran around the campsite as soon as we got ashore like she’d forgotten it was on.

Fits well and doesn’t hinder swimming
Fits nicely and doesn’t seem to interfere with my experienced swimmer’s natural stroke. Bought it for boat trips; build quality looks good and the buoyancy feels balanced without an awkward neck bulge. The price is high compared with human vests, but pet gear often is. Looking forward to more adventures.

Ideal for an active lab
My lab tested this during a swim weekend and tolerated it even though she dislikes collars. It didn’t restrict her jumps or paddling and she stayed in the water longer without tiring. The bright color is a plus and it provided peace of mind in a strong current.

Sturdy build, vivid color
Very pleased — it suits deep-chested dogs and the tangelo orange is highly visible. It accommodated my GSP’s shape well and feels solidly constructed. It’s pricey, but I’m happy with the durability and fit.

Solid fit but missing metal D-ring
Fits our lab nicely and seems well made. Would like more color choices. The only real drawback is the lack of a proper metal D-ring; the nylon loop for leash attachment feels less reliable if she bolts after birds.

Shorter cut fits my lab better
This fits my 70 lb Labrador unlike the longer jackets I tried before. He can sit comfortably with this shorter profile. We haven’t used it on the water yet, but it looks well-made and should work for boating.

Adjustable and compact for small dogs
Excellent fit for my 19 lb Boston terrier — the XS matched her chest measurements perfectly. Multiple adjustment points made it possible to get a snug harness-like fit that didn’t scare her off the water. Straps were a bit stiff at first, so I recommend fine-tuning adjustments at home before heading out.

Thoughtful design, secure feeling

Comfortable for long dock days
Perfect for our water-obsessed dog — he can wear it for extended periods and still move freely along the dock. It breathes better than bulkier vests and was easy to adjust. Initially a bit stiff, but the material softened after a few outings. Simple to put on and take off; great overall.
