This swim jacket is manufactured to recognized safety criteria (tested to UL 1177-2011 and meeting ASTM F963-17 standards) and uses a high-density, tear-resistant fabric. Stitching is reinforced at stress points so the vest withstands regular use by active kids.
Safety features focus on usability and security: a front zipper for quick dressing, two lockable quick-release buckles to back up the zipper, oversized arm openings to allow a wide range of motion, and adjustable straps that lay flat and resist riding up.
The outer shell is premium neoprene that mimics a snug, second-skin fit and dries rapidly compared with plastic floats. It’s gentle on sensitive skin and stays lightweight when wet, helping children move naturally in the water.
Sized for growing kids, the vest comes in two overlapping weight ranges (about 50–90 lbs and 75–125 lbs) so you can pick the best fit. Inside, a dense EPE foam core provides steady lift without excessive bulk, helping learners conserve energy as they practice strokes and build confidence in the pool or lake.
