MEEDEN Beech H-Frame Studio Easel — Adjustable Floor Painting Stand
Product description
This H-frame studio easel is constructed from finely sanded beech wood and given a light clear finish that highlights the natural grain. The mast adjusts in height from 59 inches (150 cm) up to 95 inches (240 cm) and the cradle can be tilted or laid flat so you can work vertically, at an angle, or horizontally. It will accept canvases up to approximately 77 inches (196 cm) tall when fully configured.
The mast includes three sliding supports that can be freely positioned to secure different canvas sizes, and the broad, heavy base provides a stable platform for large-format work. Two large rolling wheels at the front let you reposition the easel easily; the wheels also have locks so the stand remains fixed while you paint. The wider, deluxe variant is available for those who work with exceptionally wide canvases.
The package arrives with pictorial assembly instructions and the necessary basic tools and fasteners, and there is an assembling video that demonstrates the build process. Most parts are labeled to simplify setup. The product is marketed with a satisfaction-oriented guarantee and is intended for artists who need a sturdy, adjustable easel for studio-scale painting.

Takes some effort to assemble but worth it
If you’ve never built an easel before, it can be a moderate challenge. The printed guide had a small mistake and some holes were slightly misaligned, so I adjusted with my drill and common sense. Assembly took about two hours. Once built it’s heavy, all-wood, and feels sturdy. My granddaughter will be thrilled with it.

High quality feel and intuitive assembly
Very pleased — the wood pieces are solid and all parts were numbered which made setup a breeze. Screws and knobs are labeled so you grab the correct hardware quickly. Once erected it adjusts and glides smoothly.

Sturdy, adaptable, and simple to put together
Very solid and surprisingly straightforward to assemble. The wood has a warm natural tone and the easel feels substantial without being impossible to move. Wheels make relocation easy, and the adjustable cradle and mast operate smoothly. I expected trouble from other comments but followed the diagrams and finished quickly; quality seems high for what you get.

Fits my studio perfectly
Great beechwood easel and excellent value. Directions were easy to follow, it rolls around the room smoothly, and it’s sturdy without being cumbersome. I appreciate that it can be laid flat for washes as well as used upright for paintings. A perfect addition to my workspace.

Solid product with minor hardware gripes
I rarely review, but this deserves a mention. Everything arrived, the instructions were clear, and the wood is good quality. My only complaint is the hinge hardware feels cheap, though it’s not likely to see heavy wear. Took under an hour to assemble; sliders work fine after a little wax. Satisfied overall.

Really well made and brilliantly designed
Arrived in a compact box and nicely packed. Assembly was simple — easier than some big furniture brands. The finished easel is stable and premium feeling; you can work vertically, horizontally, or at any angle, and the wheels have bearings. My artist partner is delighted.

Great finish, smooth operation, handles large canvases
Excellent finish and sturdy construction. Transitions from vertical to horizontal effortlessly and accommodates very large canvases (for example, 5' x 6'). Wheels roll smoothly, making it easy to move oversized work. A very functional studio piece.

Excellent starter studio easel
After watching a video I decided to buy this and it arrived today. Assembly was a bit fiddly at first but straightforward once parts were oriented correctly. The main frame comes preassembled, and the whole easel feels solid — great value for a small studio. Laying canvases flat was a major plus for me.

Very well built and holds multiple canvases for drying. Excellent quality for the value; note that the listing’s cost can vary over time, so it’s worth watching for a convenient moment to buy.

Lightweight enough, highly versatile — perfect for a low-ceiling studio
My old easel was failing after years of use and I needed something functional and portable for a basement studio with a 7.5' ceiling. This unit meets those needs: it’s adjustable, not overly heavy, and works well in tight vertical space because the mast adjusts independently. I was nervous about ordering unseen, but it has been excellent so far. Some reviews warned about sketchy instructions, but I got by with the included guide and video.

Versatile — replaced multiple pieces in my studio
Extremely happy with this purchase. It holds both large and small work and avoids the ceiling interference many easels cause because the mast adjusts independently. I now use it instead of two easels and a drafting table. Angle adjustments are easy with the knobs, it folds away compactly, and the removable cradles adapt to different tasks. A true multi-purpose studio tool.
