Control and interface: This handheld heat press uses a single multi-function button to manage power and temperature. One tap raises the temperature, two taps lower it, and three taps swap between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The current temperature is always shown on the LED display so you can monitor heat in real time.
Physical size and components: The unit measures about 4.5 × 2.9 × 5.1 inches (11.5 × 7.5 × 13 cm) overall, with the rectangular heating surface sized at approximately 2.87 × 4.43 inches (7.29 × 11.25 cm). It ships with an insulated safety resting base to hold the press when not in use and helps prevent accidental contact with the hot plate.
Construction and use: The press combines a coated metal heating plate with a molded plastic body and an insulating base to reduce heat transfer to surfaces. It is designed for heat-transfer vinyl, patches, small apparel areas, caps, pillows and other small craft pieces. Place your transfer, set the desired preset temperature and apply steady pressure for the recommended time for your material.
Temperature settings and safety: There are three preset temperature levels — Low 284°F (140°C), Medium 320°F (160°C) and High 356°F (180°C) — chosen to suit various fabrics and transfer materials. From a cool start (~84°F) it reaches 284°F in about 3 minutes; moving from 284°F to 320°F takes roughly 40 seconds and from 320°F to 356°F about 50 seconds. For added safety the unit powers down after 15 minutes of inactivity and the base acts as a thermal barrier.
Convenience features: The control supports quick switching between °C and °F. Its compact footprint and light weight make it easy to hold for precision work and simple to store when projects are finished.
