Grilling
10-Inch Oak Wood Pepper Grinder — Adjustable Ceramic Salt & Pepper Mill
Product description
What you get: One 10-inch oak wood grinder designed for salt or pepper. The set is a single-piece mill made from natural oak and fitted with a ceramic grinding rotor — there are no plastic grinding components.
Materials and finish: The body is solid oak, so the grain and tone vary from piece to piece, giving each grinder its own look. The grinding parts are ceramic for longevity and to avoid metal flavor transfer.
Capacity and size: This tall mill holds approximately 4–5 ounces of spice, so you won’t be refilling it after every use. Its 10-inch height gives a comfortable grip and good leverage for grinding.
Refilling: To refill, simply remove the top cap and pour in whole peppercorns or coarse sea salt. The wide opening makes topping up easy and tidy.
Adjustable mechanism: The ceramic core can be tuned from fine to coarse by turning the top nut — clockwise for a finer grind and anticlockwise for a coarser grind — allowing you to match texture to the dish.
Gift suitability: The classic oak appearance makes it a suitable present for cooks and hosts who appreciate practical, attractive kitchenware.
Care and tips: Avoid soaking or washing the wooden body with water; instead, clean the internals by grinding a small amount of dry rice to dislodge oils and dust before adding spices. If unsure how to operate or refill, consult the included images or video guidance.
Pros
- Solid oak body with unique wood grain
- Adjustable ceramic grinding core
- Generous 4–5 oz capacity
Cons
- Wood should not be soaked or machine-washed
- May clog with oily spices if not maintained
- Top labels (S/P) can be hard to read
VerdictA well-built, all-wood grinder with a ceramic adjustable core that delivers consistent results. The 10-inch size and 4–5 oz capacity reduce refills, and the top-off refill design is simple to use. It can clog with oily spices over time, but running a handful of dry rice through the mechanism usually clears it. Worth buying if you want a durable, attractive mill that gives control over grind size a

Stopped working after months
They look nice but didn't last. My first set lasted a year; the second stopped after five months. Salt mill won't grind now — disappointed in the durability.

Works as expected
They work perfectly. I marked the tops with a Sharpie because the S/P labels are hard to read.

Adjustable — rice trick fixed clog
Almost returned it when it stopped dispensing, but grinding a handful of dry rice cleared the mechanism. Now it adjusts from fine to coarse and grinds smoothly.

Rusted internal parts
Opened it after it stopped working and found rust on the salt parts. The internal pieces are not stainless steel. Do not buy if you need rust-free materials.

Good value and solid feel
Got these at a bargain; taller than expected but solid wood and no wobble. The grind has a satisfying sound. Happy with the purchase — would buy again.

Stylish and sturdy
Looks great and grinds well — no large bits. Size is handy and the wood feels solid. I've dropped it a few times and it stayed intact. Filling requires care but works fine.

Simple, reliable oak pepper mill
Solid oak body, no plastic, and a smooth twist action. The ceramic rotor handles coarse or fine settings and it holds plenty of pepper. Easy to refill and looks great on the counter.

Color does not match
The color is totally different from my wooden tableware — color was the main reason I bought it.
