HexClad 10" Hybrid Nonstick Frying Pan — 10-Inch Hybrid Skillet Review
Product description
HexClad’s Hybrid surface uses laser-etched hexagonal grooves to blend stainless-steel contact areas with a proprietary TerraBond ceramic-like coating. That hybrid pattern is intended to deliver stainless-style searing where metal touches the surface while preserving nonstick properties elsewhere for simpler release and cleanup.
The 10-inch Hybrid pan is sized for single servings, two-person dinners, or modest vegetable sautés. It’s built with tri-ply construction: an aluminum core sandwiched between stainless steel for faster, more even heat distribution across the cooking surface.
The skillet works on any home cooktop, including induction ranges. It’s designed to tolerate metal utensils without immediate damage, is dishwasher-friendly, and is rated oven-safe up to 900°F. (If using tempered glass lids, note they are safe only to lower temperatures; stainless lids will match the higher oven rating.)
HexClad stands behind its cookware with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, with exclusions for commercial or restaurant use. The package contains one HexClad 10-inch frying pan; a lid is not included. The pan measures roughly 10 inches across, about 2 inches tall, and weighs approximately 3 pounds.
Pros
- Hybrid stainless-steel/ceramic surface for searing and release

VerdictThis 10-inch HexClad Hybrid frying pan aims to bridge stainless-steel performance and nonstick convenience. Some users praise its effortless release and easy cleaning, while a minority report stickiness developing over time and mixed experiences with warranty support. For ev

Attractive, well-made skillet
Beautifully built and heats fast and evenly. Food browns nicely and clean up is effortless with no residue left behind. Packaging and the protective sleeve were thoughtfully done; I kept the cover pouch for storage.

Release is unlike other pans
This pan’s release is remarkable — food seems to lift away from the surface as if it barely touched the pan. Nothing I’ve cooked has adhered, and items slide neatly onto plates. It really feels like a different class compared to ordinary nonstick.

Love it — shared as a gift too
I absolutely love this skillet. It cooks evenly, holds temperature well, and cleans up quickly. Bought one for my mother-in-law and she’s equally thrilled. If it lasts as promised, it’s worth investing in.

Multiple sizes in daily rotation
I own three sizes and they’re used almost every day. Nothing burns at moderate heat, they’re easy to clean, and the handle stays cool — simply excellent for regular cooking.

Changed how our household cooks immediately
I’d avoided nonstick for years but the laser-etched hybrid changed my mind. Eggs flipped effortlessly and cleanup was a breeze. The weight and handle feel like good stainless; the 12" size I mainly use has plenty of working room and my kids no longer struggle with sticking proteins.

Seriously impressive release on chicken
Followed the initial care steps, then tried chicken thighs using a low-medium sear method. Where older pans stuck, this one let the meat release cleanly; I was able to use a metal spatula mid-cook without scraping. Very pleased with how well things slid off compared to my old nonstick.

Good look and fit but durability issues
The pans sit flat and look great; handles are comfortable. Early uses were nonstick, but sticky patches developed after a few cooks despite seasoning and careful washing. I now replace lower-cost pans more often because these require more upkeep and didn’t hold up as long as I hoped.

Performs as advertised
Does what the marketing promises. I expect this pan will serve me well for years.

Performance dropped and support disappointed
After a few months my pan began to lose its release — many items stuck despite reseasoning and gentle cleaning. Fried eggs left a stubborn film. Attempts to get help from customer support were frustrating and the warranty process felt ineffective. I’m disappointed after initial promise.

Durable finish and stylish look
I was skeptical after trying many pans, but this coating has held up. The pan looks smart on the stove; use moderate heat and you’ll avoid sticking.
