This cable links D-Tap power sources to cameras that accept an NP-FZ100-style dummy battery. The package contains a coiled D-Tap to NP-FZ100 dummy battery lead finished in blue, with reinforced connectors and a nylon-braided outer sheath for abrasion resistance and cable management.
Compatible cameras include a wide range of Sony models: A1, A6600, A6700, A7 III, A7 IV, A7C, A7C II, A7CR, A7R III, A7R IV, A7R V, A7S III, A9, A9 II, FX3, FX30, NPA-MQZ1K, VG-C3EM, VG-C4EM, and ZV-E1. Use it to connect V-mount or other D-Tap-equipped batteries to your camera to maintain continuous power for long recordings.
Cable dimensions: 16 inches in its contracted state and stretches to about 36 inches fully extended. Electrical ratings: input voltage range 8–17V, regulated output 8V, maximum output current 2A. The coiled design keeps slack managed while allowing reach when needed.

Performance outweighs color gripe

Serious compatibility problem encountered
I had a major issue: when connecting this cable to an A7 IV it showed an "incompatible battery" message and the camera shut down. The body then refused to accept power until I removed the cable. Other D-Tap leads I’ve used do not cause this, so exercise caution and verify compatibility before trusting it on a critical shoot.
