4-Inch Flexible Aluminum Vent Duct — 25 ft, 2-Pack with Clamps
Product description
Intended Use: This flexible ducting is made for connecting fans and vents in air-movement systems — from inline blowers and exhaust fans to dryer and kitchen vents. Match the duct diameter to your fan or vent collar (4" duct for a 4" fitting) to ensure a snug, low-leak connection.
Included Items & Sizes: The product comes as a two-pack of 4-inch diameter aluminum flex ducts, each measuring 25 feet when fully extended, and includes metal hose clamps sized to fit the duct openings for each hose.
Materials & Construction: The hose is constructed with multiple layers: heavy-duty aluminum foil on the interior and exterior, and a PET thermoplastic middle layer that resists cuts and helps prevent leaks. A built-in steel wire coil provides structural support and keeps the duct from collapsing while allowing it to be stretched, compressed, and shaped.
Installation & Features: Lightweight and portable, these ducts can be routed through walls, ceilings, or along equipment racks. The stainless steel clamps are rust-resistant and secure the hose to standard vent collars and fan outlets. Because the layers are flame-retardant and corrosion-resistant, they’re suitable for many HVAC and exhaust uses, though insulating the exterior is recommended if you need to retain heat.
Pros
- Heat- and corrosion-resistant multi-layer construction
- Flexible steel-coil design for easy routing and shaping
- Comes with matching stainless steel clamps
Cons
- Thinner than semi-rigid ducting — can tear with rough handling
- Allows some heat transfer unless insulated
- Compresses shorter than fully extended length under tension
VerdictThese 4" aluminum flex ducts offer a durable, heat-tolerant option for routing air in a range of ventilation tasks. The layered foil construction with a PET core improves puncture and leak resistance compared to single-layer hoses, while the internal steel helix keeps the tube shape and lets you bend or compress it to fit tight runs. Each pack includes clamps sized to match the duct diameter for s

Length may compress short of advertised
Nice quality overall. Ordered 16 ft but when stretched it measured only about 12 ft. Had to add another length to reach my target.

Sturdy, bendable ducting that performs well
This 4" aluminum flex duct has been a solid part of my ventilation setup. The 25-foot run gives room to route around obstacles and it bends without much fuss. The layered build feels robust, keeps its shape, and seals well to standard 4" fittings. Works for HVAC and exhaust jobs — reliable and practical.

Exceeded expectations in stretch and durability
Even stretched to fit a slightly larger opening it didn’t rip and stayed flexible. Material seems solid for normal venting. Note: it will radiate heat, so external insulation helps if you need to keep air hot.

Used to set up a workshop extraction hose
Inspired by a guide, I added this hose to my basement extraction setup. The tube is flexible and easy to cut, and it moves well across the table. I welded a 20x20mm square steel holder to position the hose. Works well for general workshop dust extraction though a shop vacuum still helps for full capture.

Matched my fan perfectly and included clamps
Paired with a 6" fan and vent cap, this tubing filled the gap. It expands accordion-style so I left extra collapsed rather than cutting. No tears and the included heavy clamps are handy. Happy with the purchase and also bought the 4" version.

Heavier-duty than expected
This foil hose is much more robust than I thought. The aluminum feels reinforced and stays put once installed. I like the dark outer layer for a cleaner look and reduced light leak. Flexible yet strong — didn’t collapse or kink. The 8-foot piece I used fit perfectly and the clamps held tight with no leaks.

Too thin for heavy-duty dryer use
This is thinner than semi-rigid ducts and tears easily. I struggled mounting two lengths to my dryer and ultimately replaced them with stiffer ducting to avoid potential lint leaks.
