Mobile Chicken Coop with Wheels for 4–6 Chickens — Expandable Backyard Coop
Product description
Spacious shelter for small flocks: This mobile chicken house measures 82.4" long by 25.8" wide and 44.1" high, giving comfortable room for about 4–6 hens, ducks, or rabbits to scratch, roost and nest. The unit includes an attached run, two nesting compartments, a reinforced base, and the pull-out metal trays for waste removal.
Built to roll: Two heavy-duty wheels and an integrated pull handle make relocating the coop simple. Move it to fresh grass, shade or drier ground to reduce mud and parasites, and to let birds access new foraging areas without permanent relocation.
Secure nesting and sturdier base: Two roomy nesting boxes give hens private laying space; each box locks with a predator-resistant latch. The bottom of the nest area is reinforced to support repeated use and protect eggs. The sleeping section has an asphalt-style roof that sheds rain and helps keep birds dry.
Ventilation and weather notes: The run is covered by a galvanized roof panel to improve airflow while offering partial protection. For maximum weather protection, situate the coop under eaves, a porch, or inside an additional covered run. Proper placement helps prevent prolonged exposure to wind-driven rain.
Quick assembly and maintenance: The manufacturer estimates about 45 minutes for initial setup using the included instructions. Daily cleaning is simplified by extra-large sliding trays that pull out from underneath. Five access doors and screened openings allow reach into corners and promote circulation to reduce odors.
Expandable configuration: The design allows you to remove side panels and bolt on a second unit to expand the run and shelter footprint, so the enclosure can grow as your flock grows. Parts and panels are arranged for relatively easy connection when adding a second coop.

Perfect for separating one bird
Just what I needed to isolate a single hen. Took about 45 minutes to assemble and the directions were clear. Wood is lightweight so I keep it under a covered porch. The run feels tight once water and feed are added, but it’s fine for temporary use and future chicks.

Surprisingly roomy for several hens
After four months with no issues, I’m impressed. I used this temporarily for eight hens; they manage fine and take turns using a nesting area. It’s sturdier than I expected and feels like it will last a while with proper care.

Cute, straightforward build
Assembly is easy if you pay attention to panel orientation. The mesh feels predator-resistant, though the wood is thin so long-term durability is uncertain. My birds use it happily and it was simple to put together.

Solid choice for three standard hens
Assembly was straightforward and I did it solo. Everything lined up and it feels stable. I house three hens in it with no crowding; bantams could squeeze a few more. Nesting boxes and the cleaning tray work great, and the painted finish on mine looked good.

Well-made but missing lock catches
Overall a nice little hen house — packed well and the parts fit. My only gripe: the slide locks arrived without catches, so there’s nothing for the locks to engage. It took about four hours to build by hand. Otherwise I’d recommend it for four hens in a backyard.

Arrived damaged and poor quality control
Mine came with spotty paint, stripped screws and several fractured panels. The door track broke within days and the roof didn’t line up properly. They refunded some money, but packing looked fine so the defects seem to be from assembly or factory QC. Took a lot of extra work to get it usable.

Not durable for long-term outdoor use
Bought two for chicks and ducks in spring; by winter both were showing rot, warped doors and peeling boards. The removable tray rusted through and the roof was the only part still holding up. Looks appealing but didn’t last through the seasons for us.

Good as a temporary or quarantine pen
We used this as a second coop and a hospital pen for new chicks. It’s easy to put together and fine for short-term housing of two young birds, but the run is small and the structure isn’t as sturdy as our full-size coop. Best for temporary or occasional use.

Ideal home for a bantam pair
My son brought home a bantam Serama and chick last summer and I needed a secure coop because we have raptors and foxes nearby. This unit met my waterproof and predator-proof checklist. The little hen settled in quickly and even laid four eggs in her first week. They share the space well and the nesting boxes are roomy enough for smaller birds.
