Dimensions and adjustability: Legs can be set between about 6 inches and 11.5 inches to suit young birds through mature chickens, eliminating the need for multiple feeders. The trough and port openings allow multiple birds to eat at once while limiting spillage.
Weather protection and use: The lid is sloped and features an outer rim to prevent rainwater from tracking through fastener points. Works well for my ducks so far
I bought this for two Rouen ducks and it’s holding up. Rain and sprinkler water puddled on the lid but the feed below stayed dry. I only open three ports for my pair; I worry the openings might be tight as their heads grow, but for now it does the job and was worth buying.
