Poultry Electric Netting Fence — 47.3" H (extendable to 59.1") x 98.5'
Product description
This kit arrives as a largely preassembled roll of netting 47.3" tall and 98.5' long. The overall package height measures 66" when the ground spikes are counted. Included hardware allows you to add a top electrified section so the working fence height can be raised to 59.1" using the insulators and the supplied energized rope.
The net uses 14 horizontal ropes spaced progressively from bottom to top. The two lowest strands are non-conductive to reduce shorts from weeds and vegetation. The lower netting has a tight 2" x 3" mesh to prevent small birds or animals from slipping out, while the upper area offers wider spacing for visibility and containment of flying poultry.
Thirteen main posts are provided, giving roughly one post every 8.2 feet along the length to limit sag and grounding. In addition, five small support posts (mini posts) are supplied to prop up conductive strands in specific spots as needed. The kit also contains insulators and repair pieces to address wear or minor damage.
Installation is straightforward: unroll the net, stake the posts, position spikes into the ground, attach the top electrified rope if higher coverage is needed, and connect to a compatible energizer (sold separately). The product is designed for quick relocation and reuse across pastures, gardens, or paddocks. For reliable performance, animals should be given a short electric-fence training period so they associate the shock with the barrier.
Pros
- Portable and quick to set up
- Adjustable top section increases containment height
- Tight lower mesh deters small escapes and predators
Cons
- Fence energizer is not included
- May need frequent restaking to prevent sagging
- Not engineered as a permanent heavy-duty barrier
VerdictA versatile, moveable electric poultry net that confines flyers and deters predators when energized. Good for rotational grazing and training birds, but it requires a separate fence energizer and occasional restaking to avoid sagging. Durable for seasonal use, not intended as a permanent heavy-duty barrier.

Length discrepancy handled
Listing showed 200m but I received 20m and was upset; seller offered a discount and overall the product works fine.

Missing items and no energizer
Box arrived lacking some expected bits and there was no energizer or solar unit. Without power the fence is vulnerable and animals may chew it.

Good seasonal pasture fence after a year of use
Used for about a year and moved several times. Setup was simple, the conductors kept charge, and extra repair parts and small supports were handy. Colors faded with sun exposure but it did deter predators.

Strong containment for all ages
Holds our flock and younger chicks reliably; the small lower mesh stops escapes.

Useful for training and small runs
Good for training young turkeys and small areas. Spikes held in wet soil but struggled in hard clay. Repair kit and stabilizers were appreciated.

Does the job
Effectively keeps chickens inside and discourages neighborhood dogs.

Keeps chickens in, easy setup
Does the job — keeps birds contained and the extra stakes helped prevent sagging. Very simple to install.

Short-lived for some posts
Worked well at first, then several post spikes began to bend or slide back into the fiberglass.

Would purchase again
Operates well when energized. Chickens can pass through gaps if unshocked, but avoid it when it's live.
