Solid Wood Free-Standing Coat Rack — 8 Hooks, 3 Height Settings
Product description
Effortless setup: The coat rack uses threaded connections built into the components so you can screw pieces together by hand — no screwdriver required. The package includes the main pole sections, upper branches with eight hooks, a square base, and the necessary fasteners.
Durable construction and finish: Made from rubberwood, the stand is treated with a triple-layer painted coating that produces a smooth, clothes-friendly surface while helping protect the wood.
Adjustable heights: The pole is designed with three distinct assembly heights so you can choose a shorter or taller configuration to suit kids, adults, or different rooms. The main pole measures about 1.6 inches in diameter for solid support.
Stable footprint: A sturdy square base provides balance and prevents tipping; the overall design supports roughly 53 lb in total capacity, with each hook rated for several pounds of gear.
Versatile styling: With a pared-back, contemporary look, this freestanding rack works well in entryways, bedrooms, offices, or reception areas to keep jackets, bags, robes, and towels neatly organized.
Pros
- Tool-free, quick assembly
- Adjustable to three heights
- Stable square base and solid pole
Cons
- Paint or finish can have small flaws
- Some units arrive with minor damage
- Each hook has limited load capacity
VerdictThis wooden coat rack delivers a simple, sturdy solution for everyday hanging needs. It assembles quickly without extra tools, adjusts to three heights, and its square base and solid pole give reliable support. Finish and paint may show minor imperfections on some units, but overall it handles coats, bags, and towels well and suits compact spaces where a slim, modern stand is preferred.

Very sturdy — I hang bath towels on it to dry. Straightforward to assemble and holds up well.

Attractive, Easy Build (Not Pure White)
Pretty and simple to assemble with no tools required. One caveat: photos make it look white, but the actual color is a grayish-beige rather than bright white.

Pretty and Robust
It looks nice and feels sturdy. The material seems solid and it’s a bit heavy, which helps it remain balanced even with many bags. Assembling it was very straightforward.

Ideal for Clothes Between Wears
I picked this rack to hold garments that are still wearable but not ready for washing. It's freed up my chair that used to collect pajamas, robes and jeans. The caramel-like finish coordinates with my bedroom furniture and the rack holds a decent amount. Assembly was fast and it feels solid for daily use. A simple way to keep a room neater without clothes piling up.

Good for Tight Spots, But Arrived Damaged
This is a great slim rack for smaller areas — slim pole, plenty of hooks, and the square base saves floor space compared with multi-leg designs. Paint is bright white and a bit imperfect in places. Assembly was straightforward, but my unit had a noticeable chip at a seam and some cracking inside sections the arms fit into. The internal flaws were hidden once assembled, but the visible chip was disappointing. Otherwise it hangs jackets neatly and came well packed. I would have requested a replacement if I hadn’t needed it right away.

Assembly Quirks but Worth It
UPDATE: Liked it enough to order a second one and now use it at full height. Tip: alcohol wipes remove sticker residue without harming the finish. ORIGINAL: I ran into a hiccup assembling mine — I missed a small screw and the instructions weren’t very clear, so I initially tried to attach the pole incorrectly and had trouble securing it to the base. Once I found the missing fastener it went together fine, but expect to read the parts list carefully.
